The Boy Scouts began the Frank D. Visceglia Memorial scholarship through the Patriots’ Path Council of The Boy Scouts Of America (PPCBSA). It is worth $1,000. This scholarship is open to seniors of high schools who have been Eagle Scouts or Boy Scouts. This scholarship is available to Albright college students only.

Criteria for eligibility:

• New Jersey residents who are not considered to be formal residents
• Programs of direct assistance related to the climate around the world
• Participate in surveying activities, such as the NESA Jamboree

#7 New Jersey STARS II Program

HESAA has another merit-based New Jersey STARS II (Student Tuition Assistance Reward Scholarship) program. New Jersey STARS II program gives New Jersey STARS Scholars the opportunity to be recognized. This program is intended to recognize students who have been screened at their local community institution and were in the top 15% of their class. The university is open to students during all semesters, except for the Summer session.

Criteria for eligibility:

• A New Jersey community college will award you a degree.
• New Jersey STARS recipient required
• New Jersey STARS II Program must be started in the 2nd semester by students enrolled in a Nj county college.
• You must be enrolled in the four-year University Program
• A family’s annual income cannot exceed $250,000
• GPA must not be lower than 3.25

#8 AAHA Lou Manzione Scholarships

In recognition of his tenure as President of New Jersey Youth Hockey League for ten years, the Lou Manzione scholarship awards $1,000 each year from the Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association. For schooling costs assistance, two secondary school seniors from New Jersey and Delaware are selected. All applications submitted prior to February 1st must include a 500-word paper entitled “The Value Of High School Hockey to my Personal Development.”

Criteria for eligibility:

• You must have a matriculation degree from a school licensed for two- or four-year students
• Minimum 2.0 GPA required or higher
• Demonstrate trustworthiness, authority and excitement on-ice

#9 NJ Sharing Network Foundation Scholarships

New Jersey Sharing Network Foundation also offers scholarship programs that can help students financially. Each year, it awards $5,000 to two organ gift advocates with deep roots. New Jersey SN reserves can be used to relocate beneficiaries, transplant recipients, survivors, or for those whose loved ones have died waiting for a transfer. Three suggestion letters and a paper application bundle should be submitted no later than April 7.

• Organ or tissue transplantation must be done on the student or a family member.

#10 Janet Logan Daily Foundation Scholarships

In 2010, the Janet Logan Daily Foundation was created to remember the heroism of Dr. Mennies. He was an elementary school teacher in Vineland, and he lost a courageous battle against thymic carcinoma. Janet’s kindness awards a $10,000 scholarship each spring. The amount is divided over a 4-year baccalaureate degree program. This scholarship is only available to applicants who apply before April 1.

Eligibility Criteria

• Residents of New Jersey counties 20 or more must be eligible
• You must have a matriculation degree from a United State University
• You must have a minimum 2.5 GPA
• Minimum of 30 hours work experience per week in summers, starting at age 16.

Saint Andrew’s Society expanded its legitimacy-based grant program in 1956 to achieve its goal. The Scholarship Program has given nearly 200 educational grants since its inception to promote trade between American and Scottish colleges.
